Lyd and I puttered around the house in the morning.  Judy dropped by for a short visit and the kids walked down to mother’s to discuss funding for PA school.  (She will fund everything at no interest.) Santo and Ann and Ray and Corvita showed up, simultaneously, at 1345, as expected. The caterers showed up at 2:00 and the bartender at 3:30.  From 1515 to 1545, we had a heavy rain, causing some consternation, but it cleared up and we dried off the pool furniture before the party. The party for the kids was quite marvelous.  Lyd and I finally crashed around 0000, but some of the kids stayed until 0200.
