Bonnie, Charlie, Frances, Ivan & Jeanne

Wow:  Is that a rock group or a legal firm? Ok, the first one was only a tropical storm, but we experienced 5 major storms, 4 of them hurricanes, in 6 weeks.  The devastation in Florida in beyond description by me.  We were unbelievably lucky in that all 5 storms skirted our immediate area.  Bonnie passed west of us; Charlie to the east; Frances went south-west of us and Ivan passed well west and then curved back around to hit us as a Nor'-Easter before heading into the Gulf Of Mexico to nail Texas.  Jeanne was the evil twin of Frances, following the same path with lower wind speeds, but more flooding.  At this point we have lost 6 days of school, which must be made-up.  Farther south, our friends have suffered far more damage.
