We drove down from Jacksonville and checked into the Yacht Hotel around 1800.  Where else would you find a lamp with Captain Mickey Mouse as the base?

There is also nice stuff in the lobby
and around the hotel

Dinner was at the Yachtsman Steakhouse in the hotel. They feature roasted elephant garlic with the bread course. We'll try to nail down the recipe.

We both had the lobster bisque.  Oops --- the camera was forgotten until after the soup was gone. I'll try and do better with the camera

Lyd enjoyed the Charred Angus Bourbon Strip Steak-

And I had the Angus NY Strip Steak with Bleu Cheese Sauce.

After we returned to the room, we enjoyed the bulk of the EPCOT Illuminations display, at 9, from our balcony, with a view over the roof of The Beach Hotel.

We're staying on the Concierge Floor which offers many amenities
