When we arrived home, Santo, Ann and mother had already arrived and were
out by the pool. Mother brought a load of snacks, including a shrimp
cocktail. Sal and Kate called just before 6 and we put it on the speaker
phones in the kitchen and out by the pool and had a short visit. Santo
and Ann left Nevada on March 30. They went to the Badlands and then down
through Las Vegas, Arizona and New Mexico and then down to El Paso,
Texas. From there it was over to New Orleans and then onto the Gulf Coast
through the Florida Panhandle and into Jacksonville. They drove out to
the beach before going to mother’s. Tomorrow they will go to friends in
Folkston and then work their way up the coast. They expect to be in
Reading on Saturday. Just before 2300, we had a gentle rain. |
