Florida Christmas 2005

Since Lydia and I married in 1974 and I took her away from the Eastern Shore, we have always strived to return there for Christmas.  Since we both work for the public schools, that has not been hard on us.  What has been hard is the Christmas Holidays for my parents, Wil and Audrey Welsh.  It has been particularly hard on Mom since Dad died in 2001.  Our Florida Christmas is about a week ahead of the 25th of December.
The Welsh Florida Christmas tradition is Christmas Eve dinner of lasagna (easy to fix and easy to clean up to get to the important part of the evening) and the opening of gifts (the important part of the evening). This year, Christmas Eve was at mother's house.
Christmas Day was back at our house and Lyd served Steak Diane.  We were hungry and I forgot the camera
