The Dreaded Day

The Dreaded Day, where we read all 8 sets and debate the answers was to have started at 0900. An accident off-property and an incident between a lawnmower and a Disney bus prevented much of the staff from arriving, so we did not actually start set 8 until 1000. While we read questions, Lyd relaxed out by the pool with a good book, walked over the Magic Kingdom and back and did some shopping on the 4th floor concourse. I returned to the room at 1740 and had a drink. We then boarded the monorail and went the three stops to the Grand Floridian.  Situated on the second floor is Citricos. Formerly an Italian restaurant, it has been remodeled and has a Tuscan flair. Here is the menu.

We were seated at a lovely window table which provided a nice view of one the many courtyards of the Grand Floridian Hotel
A Manhattan for me and a scotch and soda for Lyd were served in interesting glassware which is available from www.oriontrading.com
We were both rather hungry, so in each course the photography often was forgotten until after the initial assault on the dish. Malek, our cast member, brought two wines to sample before each course so we could get what went best with our pallets. When he sees this page, he may be able to supply the information on the ones we declined as well as those we selected.
