Mother took us out to dinner at Chun King, our local Asian Restaurant. We each had two glasses of the house White Zin.

The Mongolian BBQ comes with a choice of soup and the Hot and Sour soup was selected (mild, of course), followed by two bowls, concocted on the spot, of meats, vegetables, sauces and spices. No two are ever the same. Anna and The King, from the Thai menu, includes fresh shrimp and tender chicken sautéed with onions, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, green bell peppers & baby corn, seasoned with Thai chili garlic sauce ($13.95) Chicken Chow Mein ($7.25)

Mother decided to announce to the restaurant that it was my birthday, so Phet produced a nice dessert of fried bananas and the girls were pressed into a birthday chorus.
