On Saturday, July 15th, we invoked the Eastern Shore tradition of picking crabs.

There are 15 jumbos in the bag and it seems to have a life of its own as it is untied. This guy really doesn't want to go in there. Lyd piles lots of spices on top of each new entry Finally they are finished... ...and make it to the table.

Kate flew home on the 16th, but not before having brunch at Hidden Hills Country Club with parents and grandmother.
