Stanton High School's 10-year reunion

Kate and Sal were in Jacksonville in July for the Stanton 10-year reunion. They arrived on Thursday, July 12th and departed Monday, July 16th

Wednesday, July 11

They were scheduled to depart Philadelphia on US Air 836 at 1840. A check in the mid-afternoon showed their flight had been cancelled. I was fortunate in rebooking their flight for 0730 the next morning. They stayed in a Ramada Inn near the airport with a voucher from US Air for a chunk of the room.

Thursday, July 12

With their flights rescheduled, they arrived, on time, in the morning with Lyd gathering them from the airport. They drove down to visit Mother at Life Care and then supported the economy. Marilyn and Harley came over for a visit. In the evening, Mother fell and Life Care took X-Rays.

Friday, July 13

Kate had her hair done today. Near noon, Life Care reported that Mother's nurse found her out of sorts and they transported her to Baptist Beaches ER for examination. We discovered a flat tire on my car and Sal had AAA come and fix it. There was a reunion Meet & Greet from 1900-2100. (They came home at 0200!)

Saturday, July 14

The main reunion event was at the River City Brewing Company (RCBC) on the St. John's River with a post-reunion party at the Twisted Martini at the Jacksonville Landing. Following a lovely reunion of old friends here at the house, they departed for the official festivities. Return to the house was near dawn.

Sunday, July 15

A reunion BBQ and school tour was from 1230-1430

Monday, July 16

They departed Jacksonville at 1015 on US Air 1652, arriving in Philadelphia at 1226 for an effortless trip home.
