Wednesday, the team put it all together. After interviewing in excess of 300 stakeholders, we were ready to collect our thoughts and offer a recommendation to the SACS CASI board. Bud and Jerri-Lyn presented our oral findings to a heavily attended session of the St. Johns District School Board where we recommended, without reservation, that the St. Johns District Schools be declared a quality school district with five years of district accreditation.

Epitaph: Our 8-member team, with Bud presiding, met each other on Sunday as strangers. Today, Wednesday, we feel like we have know each other for years. Some of us even finish each other's sentences. Serving on a QAR team is an experience that cannot be described to those who have not done so and does not need description to those who have.

This was my third District-QAR team. It does not rank either above or below the other two. Each is a unique experience. I look forward to the fourth one!
