And Now We live in Maryland
7/17/08
We pulled into Lorton, Virginia at 0945, regained our cars at 1100, and headed for Salisbury.
Lorton, Virginia
The auto Train Arrived in Lorton, Virginia at 0945. They off-loaded the cars and we were on our way at 1100. It seems that our GPS and the DC Department of Transportation do not agree on the names of some streets, so we got a bit lost in east DC.
We crossed several beautiful rivers. Our cars are off-loaded.
The Eastern Shore
We finally found signs pointing to US 50 and locked on to them. We crossed the Chesapeake and headed for Salisbury. Just east of the bay, we stopped for gas for Lyd's car and, at 1330, Tom picked up a huge bolt in the right-rear tire.
We are on the Bay Bridge ..and now on the Eastern Shore. Look at the size of this sucker in my tire!!!
