A Weekend in Wyomissing

We drove north for a weekend in Wyomissing to visit Kate and Sal and our grandson-to-be.

Jack came home from the vet, with his leg taped up. Sal stayed home with Jack and Kate went with the two of us on a shopping spree at Babys-R-Us. In the evening, we went out to dinner at Hong Thanh.

Hong Thanh The four of us went to Hong Thanh, a Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Reading. They don't have a bar and don't take credit cards, but the place was crowded and many brought their own wine. Lyd and Kate each selected the Shrimp Roll (3.5) Sal picked the Pork Roll (3.5) Tom chose an Egg Roll Vietnamese style (2.5) Lyd and Sal each picked Filet Mignon (19.25) Kate chose the Chicken Cabbage Salad (9.95) Tom picked Sliced Pork with mushrooms and bamboo shoots (12.95)
