A Weekend in Wyomissing
We drove north for a weekend in Wyomissing to visit Kate and Sal and our grandson-to-be.

We got up after Kate was gone (Jack was in my room). Following Kate and Sal's directions, we went down I-176 to meet the Pennsylvania Turnpike. We got off at KOP and joined the blue route down to I-95. We took the bypass of I-495 around Wilmington and then picked up Delaware Route 1 to Dover and then US 13 into Salisbury. Although the bulk of the traffic is north of Wilmington, the slow crawl through Delaware is 3/4 of the trip. The last 60 miles from Dover to Salisbury takes two hours due to the reduced speed zones in the middle of nowhere. They really need to do something about it. At any rate, the drive home was only 4 hours compared to 5.5 going up.
