Margaret's Birthday Dinner at Market Street Inn

For Margaret's 97th birthday, she took us to the Market Street Inn. At least that was her plan. Bill intercepted the check.

First Course
Following drinks, there were salads The Caesar Salad.
Main Course
Victor selected the Ahi Sandwich of Fresh ahi, seasoned, seared medium rare and sliced. Served on a toasted kaiser roll with a side of ginger wasabi (14) Tom chose Black Angus Sirloin, a house-butchered certified Angus Beef sirloin grilled over open flame. Served with smashed potatoes and peppercorn demi glace (21)
Margaret and Maudie each had the Seafood Pasta Sauteed shrimp, scallops, mussels, and lump crabmeat over fettuccine, finished with a sweet basil alfredo sauce and topped with parmesan cheese (23) Bill had the Black-n-Bleu Crab Strip: A house-butchered, center cut USDA Choice New York Strip steak, blackened and topped with lump crabmeat, bleu cheese and port wine. Served with smashed potatoes. (27) Elaine chose the Grilled Chicken Kabobs Two skewers with peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomato. Served over the rice of the day with a sweet honey barbecue sauce (19)
Desserts
Bill and Margaret, the birthday girl, were the only ones to choose desserts.
Bill selected the key lime pie, though Maudie ate most of it Margaret chose the white chocolate creme brulee.
