Crisfield
We took a day-trip to Crisfield looking for oysters. Our goal was MeTompkin Oyster Company. We drove down in a foggy rain, arriving at MeTompkin just after 1100. There, we were told that they were only open in the morning and that the staff had gone to lunch. It was suggested that we go to lunch and come back, hopefully, to find them open. We found Watermen's Inn and had a nice lunch. Following lunch, we went out to Linton's Seafood. They had bay oysters, washed, and said they would have Chincoteague oysters in about an hour. We drove back to Salisbury, arriving at 1300. The only oysters in our possesion had been eaten at lunch.
