We took the family to Outback Steakhouse for our regular Thursday night dinner out.
My Maker's Mark Manhattan, (4.25) was good. The ladies also enjoyed their Dewar's and Soda (8.25). Victor enjoyed a beer. (3.50)
The signature starter is the Bloomin' Onion (6.50)
As my choice for sides, I selected the Classic Blue Cheese Wedge
Elaine, Lyd and Margaret each selected the Roasted Filet Tenderloin, seared, slow-roasted and sliced filet paired with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. (15.95)
Victor chose a combination Ribs and Alic Springs Chicken of 1/3 rack of baby back ribs and 5 oz. chicken breast topped with bacon, honey mustard sauce, sauteed mushrooms, Monterrey Jack and cheddar. (14.50)
Tom's choice was the Outback Special, signature 12oz. sirloin, seasoned and seared, with a plump baked potato. (17.95)
Few leave without a take-out box and we were not exceptions.
