Dinner at Carrabba's
5/21/2009
For this week's Thursday night, Victor elected Carrabba's in West Ocean City. We had neglected to take into account that this was the Thursday night going into the Memorial Day. The traffic was heavy for a Thursday night, but the restaurant was ready for us and had a nice table.
We started with drinks, of course. Tom had a Maker's Mark Manhattan(4.50). Victor selected a Gin and Tonic (3.50). Margaret and Lyd each had Dewar's and Soda (4.75). At those prices it must have been happy hour!
Margaret and Victor each started with a bowl of Lentil Soup, rich with sausage.
Elaine had a cup of Mama Mandola's Sicilian Chicken Soup (3.50)
Tom started with a house Caesar Salad.
Lyd started with a House Salad.
Margaret and Victor each selected the classic Lasagna (13.50)
Lyd, at Tom's suggestion, tried the Linguini Pescatore (16.50) of shrimp, scallops and mussels tossed with linguini in a spicy marinara sauce.
Elaine, as she has done before, selected the Children's Spaghetti (5.50)
Tom chose Veal Marsala (17.50)
