Hurricane Bill was born mid-morning of Aug 15th near the Cape Verde Islands.
He was reported at 45 mph on the morning of the 16th, making him a Tropical Storm.
With 24 hours, he was reported at 0500 on the 17th at 75 mph and named a hurricane.
Later that evening, he had jumped to 100 mph and Category 2.
The morning of the 19th found him at 135 mph and a category 4
THe 20th took him down to Category 3 and turning north.
Saturday found Bill off the coast of Maryland and down to a Category 2.
By Sunday, Bill had dropped to Category 1 and turned east from the New England coast.
Monday finds Bill a tropical storm and headed for the coast of Ireland.
Tuesday, 8/25 at 0500, NOAA issued advisory #36 declaring Bill was finished.
