On 11/04, Tropical Depression 11 appeared off the coast of Panama.
Later in the day she became Tropical Storm Ida.
By the next morning, 11/05, Ida was a category 1 hurricane.
Nicuragua took a lot of strength out of Ida, but, the next day, aimed between Cuba and Yucatan, Ida strengthened.
On the 8th, Ida returned to hurricane strength, reaching Category 2.
On the 10th, Ida came ashore over Mobile Bay and pushed torrential rains all the way to Delmarva, where it rained for 72 hours.
