Sat, Oct 23 The old water heater was removed, completing the job.
Mon, Oct 18 Dee says Mike will come Saturday for the old water heater.
Fri, Oct 1 Rob, the electrician, completed the electrical work in the basement. The only remaining task is the removal of the old water heater.
Tue, Sep 28 Dee called and gave us a choice of Thursday at 1830 or Friday at 0800 for Rob, the electrician. I chose Friday.
Mon, Sep 27 Dee reports the electrician, Rob Simmons, will be here on Thursday to finish the installation.
Wed, Sep 22 Mike completed the installation of the fireplace and connected the gas water heater. His electrician will come next week to install the receptacle.
Tue, Sep 21 At 1330, Mike Schneider of Pemberton Appliances brought the fireplace and ran the piping for the water heater. During this process, he thought he turned off the main water line, but didn’t, putting a few gallons of water on the dungeon floor. Mike and his assistant connected the gas line. They left at 1800 and will return tomorrow morning.
Tue, Aug 31 The water heater was installed, but neither activated nor cut into the water lines. The holes were bored for the fireplace as well.
Mon, Aug 30 Mike will start the installation of the water heater tomorrow.
Tue, Aug 24 Josh, from Absolute Chimney Services, cleaned the living room chimney.
Wed, Aug 18 Absolute Chimney Services will be here 8/24 between 12 and 4 to clean the chimney. It should take about an hour and be about $150.
Tue, Aug 17 We attempted to secure a chimney sweep.
Mon, Aug 16 We stopped at Pemberton Appliances, signed a contract and left a deposit.
Fri, Aug 13 Mike Schneider, Pemberton Appliances, came to discuss the installation of a gas fireplace in the living room. We decided against replacing the fireplace in the family room at this time. He also discussed the benefits of a gas water heater and we asked him to send us a proposal.
