Lunch at The Grand Floridian Cafe.
With the rain finished, we took the monorail to the Grand Floridian Hotel and the Grand Floridian Cafe. We put our names in at the Grand Floridian Café and were very pleased to learn that our good friend and Sous Chef, Anthony Scott, was on duty. He came out of the kitchen and we all exchanged hugs. It seems today is his first day on the morning shift, so we were lucky. Lyd and Margaret each had a glass of the Fess Parker Riesling (9) while I had iced tea (2.69). Margaret selected the soup-of-the-day, Butter nut squash (5.49) while Lyd and I started with the French Onion Soup (6.99). The ladies split the Grand Floridian Sandwich (12.49), while I selected the Reuben (10.99).
