2011-09-16:
At 0645, it’s 55 and we’re packing for Wyomissing. We left Buddy at the kennel at 0900 and headed north. Following a brief stop in Harrington, DE at McDonalds, we arrived at 1230. Ann was giving Nico his lunch and she left shortly thereafter.
We played with Nico until Kate got home from Nico's noon feeding. She brought the wonderful news that Leo is coming home tomorrow after his circumcision. We had Lyd’s Turkey Pot Pie (I forgot the crust). After dinner, Kate went back for his 2100 feeding.
2011-09-17:
At 0729, it’s 52.
Sal has already been to the hospital for Leo’s 0600 feeding and has returned and is back in bed.
Kate came down shortly after we did.
Upon calling the hospital, she learned Leo had slept through a feeding, so she left, promptly, to feed him.
At 1000, we learned that the doctor who was to perform the circumcision "forgot."
He plans to return after his office hours, about 1300.
At 1330, the hospital called and told Kate that Leo is ready to go home.
They arrived at 1540, just 20 minutes before the family arrived for Nico’s party.
Sal ordered pizza to supplement Ann’s shrimp and fruit salad.
The party was topped by carrot cake.
After the party, I joined the Oklahoma v FSU football game in the 1st quarter.
FSU tied the game at 13 in the 4th quarter, but Oklahoma scored again and then put up a security field goal close to 2 minutes.
2011-09-18:
At 0710, it’s 49 in Wyomissing.
By 0730, we were on the road, headed home, with me driving.
We went through Wilmington, rather than around it.
Lyd took the wheel when we left DE 1 for US 13.
We picked up Buddy and were home by 1120.
