Lyd had never seen the Grand Canyon, so we booked "Southwest Splendors," an "Adventure by Disney."

We arrived at Goulding, Utah, just outside Monument Valley. There is a small airstrip. The elevation is lower and our breathing is easier. We had lunch at Golding's: Navajo Tacos. I hit an ATM in preparation for the cash needed for the end-of-adventure gratuities. Lyd sent some artifacts home. Monument Valley has a 4000 foot private runway at 5,192 feet The menu at Gouldings touts... ...The Navajo Taco. There is a John Wayne Museum. We are having a good time.
