Lyd had never seen the Grand Canyon, so we booked "Southwest Splendors," an "Adventure by Disney."
|
We then traveled on to Moab, Utah.
In Moab, we learned that because of the earlier baggage anomalies, we had all been upgraded to cabins.
Lyd and I are in Cabin 555 at Red Cliffs Lodge, at Mile 14 on Highway 128, east of Moab.
We're on the south bank of the Colorado River, and there are class 1 rapids just outside our cabin.
A sheer wall of red rock rises on the other side of the river.
Dinner was tacos in the pavilion.
The lodge is so spread out they need to send gas-powered golf carts to bring us in for events.
