Mon, 10/29 1115 Good morning all!
Because the weather conditions are rapidly deteriorating and a state of emergency has been declared, tonight's rehearsal has been CANCELED!! There will be no rehearsal at the school nor at the church. It is important that we know that everyone has received this message so we are asking that everyone respond to this by 4 PM this afternoon. You can respond to this email or by phone to Sherri (410-726-7615) or to Rusty (410-430-0423). Also, Wicomico schools have been closed for Tuesday so rehearsal for tomorrow is up in the air right now. We will email you as soon as possible with rehearsal info for Tuesday. If you do not receive an email, give Rusty or Sherri a call at the numbers above for that information. Keep studying your lines and music!!!!

Sun, 10/28 1600 Wicomico Schools' website reports the schools and district office are closed on Monday. Therefore, per Sherri's instructions, Monday rehearsal is at Christ UM Church.

Fri, 10/26 1557 Hello everyone…. I just received word that the Board of Ed has “CANCELLED” our Sunday rehearsal…. There is to be no one in the building on Sunday, and Monday is still up in the air. We are still on for Saturday set work…… This is totally NOT my doing, but there is nothing we can do about it. So hopefully I will see some of you tomorrow, and please pray that this storm passes us by. Thank you!!!

Fri, 10/26 0919 Just an FYI – for those of you who may not be aware, “the storm of the century” Hurricane Sandy is approaching us, and of course it is due to hit the Eastern Shore sometime between Sunday and Monday. High winds and heavy rain fall is expected. Loss of electricity is possible. It is my intention to go ahead with the run thru on Sunday afternoon with the orchestra. Then at 6pm I would like to run it again “cue to cue” with set changes. However, Monday could be an issue.
If and only if schools are closed on Monday OR if they declare a “State of Emergency” and restrict travel, we will not have rehearsal on Monday. The same goes for Tuesday.
Please use common sense, do not put yourself or your family members at risk. Let us all hope and pray that this storm passes us by. If you have any questions next week, try my cell phone 410-726-7615 or my home phone 410-742-3783.
