After returning to the room, I addressed postcards to the boys and took them to the concierge for posting. At his suggestion, I added messages to the boys and he then posted them at 70p/each. As I felt parched, the concierge directed me to 222, the pub in the basement, where I had a pint of Tetley’s Ale (9) and a bowl of crisps. At 1630, we had an informal concierge meeting in the lobby. Erin & Linda, the young ladies from Philadelphia, revealed they had plans to seek out a show in Piccadilly Circus, the theatre district. Adam advised them and I scared them by suggesting I might want to go with them. They really didn't want me to go with them! After a full day, I decided to stay in for the evening.
