Tom is participating in Adventures by Disney's "Cities of Knights and Lights."
Planned Itinerary: Day 3
Westminster Abbey [Moved from Tuesday]
Visit the beautiful cathedral that has been the site of coronations, royal weddings and countless historical events.
Buckingham Palace Changing of the Guards [Moved from Tuesday]
Witness the splendid tradition of the changing of the guards, whose stoic demeanor, crisp red coats and towering fur hats are a hallmark of this historic residence of England's royal family.
Lunch at Harrods [Moved from Tuesday]
Feast on an elaborate lunch at Harrods, a world-famous department store like no other.
Journey to the English Countryside
Leave London behind for the grandeur of the English countryside. Your hotel, Foxhills, is a converted 19th-century manor house surrounded by a sprawling 440-acre estate. Complete with a spa, pools and championship golf, Foxhills offers both the luxury of modern living and the romance of England's pastoral history.
Accommodations: Foxhills Hotel
Meals included: Breakfast and Dinner
At 0600, it’s 50 and overcast. Following breakfast, baggage call is for 0745, with assembly at 0900. Though the bellman were to take only the bags by the door, they took the duffle bag as well and Caroline had to retrieve it. We boarded our tour bus for the next three days and headed for Westminster Abbey, with Steve as our guide. Our driver dropped us off at the Abbey and we walked over to Parliament Park for pictures. We then walked back to Westminster Abbey and Steve took us on a comprehensive tour. We walked through St. James Park and over to Buckingham Palace. We returned to the bus to Harrod’s Department store and then to Foxhills Country Club.
