We were pleased to find that there is still a sushi counter, now expanded from 4 seats to 9 and a pair was available, which we grabbed.
Dale was our server, but Gary Kaikaka (who spent the last 6 months at 50’s Prime Time Café at Hollywood Studios) stopped by as did Sous Chef Eddie Mendoza.
Lyd started with a pair of Grey Goose Martinis (9.72@) and I enjoyed a pair of Maker’s Mark Manhattans (9.50@) Lyd had a glass of wine with dinner, but it didn’t make it to the bill.
I was determined to do sushi, and started with the Tuna 4 Ways (26) which was excellent.
Lyd started with the Shrimp Salad (17) and it was just as good as before.
I moved on the Dragon Roll (29) and Lyd had the Short Ribs (40).
