At 0620, it’s 75 at Bay Lake.
The boys had breakfast and we left the room at 0830 for the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.
Sal took all the passes and went to collect Fast-Passes for Peter Pan’s Wild Ride.
He joined us and we walked into Buzz Light Year.
From there, we went to Winnie-The-Pooh and then on to Peter Pan.
We walked across to Small World and I took video there, too.
We walked out to the Dumbo ride, but the lines were too long.
Dominic went on Goofy’s Barnstormer Roller Coaster, but didn’t like it.
Sal had acquired additional Fast-Passes for Peter Pan, but we gave them away on the way to lunch.
We checked in at the Crystal Palace and were quickly seated.
This is a buffet with loads of good food.
We were visited right at the table by Tigger, Piglet, Pooh and Eeyore.
Following lunch, we purchased a few hats and with rain just beginning to fall, we made it back, dry, to our rooms.
It rained all afternoon, finally quitting around 7.
Kate and I went to the 4th floor and purchased dinner for the boys.
Lyd had requested that the front desk send up a high chair by dinner, but it didn’t happen.
At 1730, Kate and Sal left for dinner at the California Grill.
The boys watched Peter Pan on Kate’s iPad and then watched the first part of Meet the Robinsons, which Sal had secured from the Community Hall.
Dominic tired of it and requested that they watch Peter Pan, again.
We purchased Wall-E for Lyd’s iPad and started the lengthy download.
At the California Grill, Kate and Sal started with a Corsendock Abbey (11) and a Sake Martini (9.75).
Sal had Duck in all its Glory (17) of House-made Sausage, Rillettes, Prosciutto, Duck Liver Pâté, Cranberry Compote, followed by the Veggie Entree (32).
Kate had the Crispy Rock Shrimp Salad (17) of Spicy Baby Greens, Subarashii Pear, Red Onions, Soy Reduction, Wasabi Cream followed by the Georges Bank Scallops (43) of
French Curry Spice, Squash Ravioli, Local Citrus Butter, Sylveta Arugula Salad.
They split an order of Yuzu-marinated Sashimi (24) of Yellowfin Tuna, Salmon, Hamachi, Snapper, Wasabi Oil.
They finished with the Chocolate Pudding Cake (13) of Luscious Chocolate Cake with Nutella Filling, Meringue Kisses, and Mint Chantilly and the
Warm Homemade Fritters (12) of Banana-stuffed, Cinnamon-dusted Fritters with Toasted Caramel Marshmallows complemented with a Trio of Dipping Sauces
