2013-2014 OPEN HOUSE |

The 2013-2014 Open House will be held the first two weekends in December and the first two weekends in January. I plan to run trains and host visitors.

Sunday, Dec 1: I missed the first day of Open House to watch FSU Football, but we had a good crowd for the second day.
My favorite train was one of boxcars all with the names of spirits: Coors, Budweiser, Cutty Sark, etc.
There was one tank car in the middle of the consist soon dubbed the drunk tank.

Saturday, Dec 7: The Delmar parade didn't hurt our attendance and I ran HO trains again for a few hours on both the main line and the sub line.

Sunday, Dec 8: With a sleet and rain mixture, I reasoned we would have a small turnout and stayed off the roads, as well.
|
Saturday, Jan 4: With the roads cleaner, we had over 450 visitors. I ran trains on both lines and in both directions.
