We were going to Brew River for Sunday Brunch, but Margaret cancelled. Tom chose Brew River for Tuesday. Amy was our server and we had a nice table by the window. Lyd started with French Onion Soup (5.99), but felt it didn’t have much flavor. She also had a cabernet sauvignon (5.99). I had a Jacque Au Lantern beer from Evolution Brewer (5.50) and a rather thick and cheesy cream of crab soup (5.99) which was quite good. We had studied the menu on-line, at home, and Lyd moved on to the Stuffed Mushroom Caps with Crab Imperial (10.99) which she pronounced as excellent. I had decided on the Cheese Steak Sub (9.99) which was just as good as it has been in the past. I eschewed the recommended fries or slaw and added the Brew River Sweet Potato Fries (1) which come with a great caramel dipping sauce. | ||||||||||||||||||
