| In 2015, we moved the operations day from 3rd Sunday to 3rd Saturday. We only a few of us in attendance, so it was difficult to run many trains. Greg reported that the decoder chip I bought in December for my White Pass and Yukon locomotive is bad and needs to be replaced. I'll contact the vendor, Moose Caboose and request instructions. I ran the Union Turn switching train, dropping off mixed freght in the Pennsboro area and picking up of cars to return to Parkersburg. I also attempted the Chim Run switching assignment, but there were problems in the area with track outages. A little after 1600, when the snow started, I came home. Our next Ops day will be in March. |
