Lunch at Brown Derby

Background
We walked back to Brown Derby and were seated for lunch soon after it opened. Lyd had glasses of Fess Parker Riesling (9@) while I had Iced Tea (3.19). We each enjoyed the Portsmouth Lobster Bisque (11) with a crispy lobster-herb dumpling and sherry gastrique. We split the entrée-sized portion of the Famous Cobb Salad (16) of freshly chopped greens, turkey breast, bacon, egg, tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese, avocado, chives and Cobb Dressing. Our old friend Sous Chef Anthony Scott appeared and we had a nice visit. Finally, came dessert (9): Lyd picked #1) Amaretto Flan and Opalys White Chocolate Whip with an Almond Cookie, #2) Double Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee, and #3) Warm Blueberry Cobbler with Crème Fraiche and Orange Blossom Honey. I selected #4) Brown Derby Original Mini-Grapefruit Cake, #5) Chocolate Sphere with Hazelnut Praline Chocolate and Orange-White Chocolate Mousse, and #6) Banana-Toffee Cake on Cocoa Crunch and Strawberry-Banana Pearls. A little confusion in the kitchen gave Lyd 1, 6, and 3 and I ended up with 5, 2, and 4. It was still good and when the bill came, we learned that Anthony had removed the desserts from the bill.
