Sal, Kate, Dominic and Leo joined Bill, here, for Christmas. Bill arrived on the 19th and departed on the 26th, and SKDL arrived late on the 23rd and departed after dinner on the 26th. | |||||||||||||||
Saturday, 26 December Lyd picked up turnip greens at Daytons and we made a taco crescent ring for lunch. We cooked Tomgolian BBQ for dinner and the kids were on the road at 1820 headed for home.

Friday, 25 December We celebrated the Laws' Breakfast in the morning and had Christmas dinner in the evening, but Margaret didn't join us for the dinner.

Thursday, 24 December We opened gifts with the boys in the morning and had lasagna for dinner.

Wednesday, 23 December With Bill and Margaret in attendance, the adults opened gifts. SKDL pulled in at 2235 after a lot of driving in the rain. | |||||||||||||||
Tuesday, 22 December Maudie and I took Bill, in a pouring rain, to Drummer’s Café in the Atlantic Hotel in Berlin, for lunch. | |||||||||||||||
Saturday, 19 December Bill arrived at 1930 from Denver via Charlotte. Three soldiers were on the plane and there was a large welcoming committee, including WBOC. We delivered him to 823 and were home by 2000.

Monday, 7 December We deployed the colored light bulbs to the front planters.

Wednesday, 25 November We bought a Christmas Tree from How Sweet It Is in Fruitland. At $39.99, it had just been unloaded and we bought the first tree they sold for this season. |
