Mary Poppins

The Community Players of Salisbury are presenting Mary Poppins. Directed by Joe Benamati Show dates are June 17, 18, 19, 24, and 25 at Wicomico High School Auditorium

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."

Fri, Jun 17 We left the house a little after 1800 for the CPOS Patrons reception at the Nutter's Cross Playhouse with light hors-d'-oeuvre's. From there, it was on to Wicomico High School for the CPOS' June Production of Mary Poppins, which was excellent. Mon, Mar 28 2016 Auditions have begun. Whereas we will be returning from Canada for one of the shows, I'll not participate. Thu, Sep 24 2015 I sent in our Patron form and reserved tickets for the June 17th Opening Night. Wed, Apr 1 2015 Mary Poppins will be our 4th show of the 2015-2016 season and will be produced at Parkside High School.
