Lew picked Chef Alan's for Tuesday's lunch.
Lew started with Woodbridge Pinot Noir (9).
I wanted an Angry Orchard, but they were out; same with New Castle Ale, so I settled on a strong Maker’s Mark Manhattan (7.75).
Lew chose Hearth Bruschetta (4.99) topped with balsamic tomatoes and fresh mozzarella which she said was excellent.
She then moved on to a large Taco Salad (10.99) of crisp organic greens, taco seasoned ground beef, tomatoes & Monterey Jack cheeses in a crisp tortilla bowl, served with sour cream and salsa.
I had the Pork Loin Chop (17.99) of a pan seared tender, juicy double chop w/marsala demi sauce, broccoli spears & garlic mashed potatoes.
It came with an excellent Caesar Salad.
