Tom selected Brickstones for Tuesday's lunch. I started with a bowl of their chili (5.90) which was quite rich, though it did have beans, and was topped with a load of cheese. Lyd had glasses of a Stone Cellar Cabernet (7.90) and then selected their Southwest Fried Chicken Salad (14.70) of select greens, fire-roasted corn, black beans, pepper jack and cheddar cheeses and tortilla strips tossed with chipotle ranch dressing, topped with southern fried chicken tenders. I had iced tea (2.99) and the comfort food of Braised Short Ribs (19.90) of boneless beef short ribs served with light tater tots and drizzled with a homemade Burgundy sauce. We brought home a substantial amount for later. | ||||||||||||
