At 0555, it’s 72, at sea, enroute to Nantucket. We arrived and moored, inside the harbor. Following breakfast, we took the 0830 tender into town, a 5 minute ride, to join Betty, the driver/guide for a bus tour of the island. In a little over an hour, she gave us a great tour. Whereas the yacht owners had complained about our ship being inside the harbor, the Harbor Master banished us outside the harbor, so, at 1100, we took a 25 minute tender ride out to where we were now anchored. I had a turkey club for lunch and Lyd’s shrimp wrap was not as good as she had hoped. The lemon cake was excellent and we went back to the room for naps. At 1700, I went down for the Eagle Society reception and we received a box of note cards, commissioned by ACL, of various ports on their itineraries. I picked up Lyd from the room and we went to dinner. At 2121, it’s 72. | ||||
