Lew has picked Salute for Tuesday's lunch out.
We started with a bottle of Govorno (55) and then had salads;
A Pear Gorgonzola Salad (9.99) of Romaine lettuce, slice pear, avocado, Gorgonzola cheese, candied pecans with homemade balsamic vinaigrette for Lydia
and, for me, a Caesar Salad (9.99) of Romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, house-made croutons with homemade Caesar dressing.
Dorie brought us seasonings for our pizzas.
Lyd’s was a Pizza Polpette (13) with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, meatballs, roasted red peppers, onion and added mushrooms (1.75).
Mine was the Pizza Montanara (13) with white truffle bechamel sauce, sausage, mushroom, mozzarella cheese and truffle oil.
