Charlene (Charlie) Baron is attending the Kutztown Folk Festival and will base with us.
She's arriving Monday afternoon and staying through Friday morning.

At 0816, it’s 75. Charlie came down in time for brunch at 10. By 11, she was on the road to Bethlehem.

At 0713, it’s 71o.
After she got up for breakfast, she left for a drive down into Amish country to shop.
We began an inventory of the garage freezer and then finished the Masa sushi for lunch.
Naps followed until Charlie returned at 1430.
Following naps, we had a dinner of Tilapia Parmesan with Broccoli salad, scalloped apples, Red Lobster biscuits and a bottle of Gewürztraminer.
After dinner, we watched The Glass Onion.
At 2202, it’s 76o.

At 2154, it’s 76o.
We left the house at 1030 and visited the Reading Museum before having lunch at MASA.
We all came home to naps.
For dinner, Lyd served Seafood Crepes and spinach salad preceded by New England Clam Chowder.
In the evening, we watched The Greatest Showman, and, at 2200, it’s 76o.

At 0650, it’s 70o, with 92% humidity on Independence Day.
We had Philly Cheese Steaks with Sister Cities Slaw and Tater Tots for lunch.
Following naps across the board we had a snick-snack snupper with shrimp cocktail; crab claw fingers, chicken picatta meatballs and crackers and cheese.
At 2000, the three of us watched A Capital Fourth on PBS, followed by the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.
At 2230, it’s 75o.

At 0829, it’s 71o, with 96% humidity.
I had blood work done for Sierra and we had deviled eggs for lunch.
Charlie got caught behind a traffic accident on US 22 and didn’t arrive until 1645.
She presented us with a beautiful patriotic table runner.
We had crab imperial with Gen Tso’s Sugar Snap Peas for dinner and then watched Knives Out in the evening.
Charlie and I watched the borough fireworks over the swimming pool from our patio, and, at 2225, it’s 75o.

Charlie will arrive on Monday afternoon and be with us until Friday afternoon, with a side trip to Harrisburg.
