The Plan:
Around 1300, we'll depart Jamestown, headed for Washington.

At 0628, it’s 52o in Yorktown, VA.
We had breakfast and then lounged in the room and on the veranda.
We went down for lunch at 1200, with both of us having the crab salad.
I supplemented mine with a bun-less bison burger, and Lyd went up to the Back Porch Café for a burger.
At 1300, we departed Yorktown headed for Washington, DC.
At 1330, I attended the Eagle Society reception, but it wasn’t much.
They switched to Bingo and I returned to the room for our naps.
At 1730, we secured cocktails and then went on down to the dining room where we joined Gary and Linda Smith.
Lyd had corn & crab chowder, but didn’t want an entrée.
I had a large iceberg wedge salad, followed by veal schnitzel, reminiscent of the old Clark veal patties.
The best thing on the plate was the red cabbage.
Lyd finished with the Pear Turnover in Raspberry sauce and I had a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream.
We returned to the room and were in bed by 2030 and 59o degrees, northbound, on the Chesapeake Bay.
Neither of us slept well.
I had a heavy build up of phlegm, keeping both of us awake much of the night.
