Lyd wants a stone veneer on the front of the house.

The masons have been at work grouting since 0630. They finished a little after 2 and it looks great.

At 0630, we were awakened to the sound of the masons working on the stone exterior.
They worked all day, and will aim to finish on Monday.

Our stone supplier stopped by to bring more stone.

Wed, May 17 |
At 0630, the same mason from yesterday returned, telling me he’ll have help and they’ll be laying stone today.
Soon thereafter, a colleague arrived and they began laying stone on the front porch.
1830 Masons left, reporting they’ll not be here tomorrow, but will return on Friday.

Tue, May 16 |
A single mason arrived at 7 to begin preparing the walls for the stone work, applying a moisture barrier, wire and scratch coat.
He worked until 1900.
Two guys from Omega continued to prepare drip caps at the bottom of the siding to go above the stone work.
A text from Frank says the additional stone will be $2500.

Mon, May 15 |
At 0800, Omega Builders arrived to remove the siding from the front of the house.
Soon thereafter, the stone was delivered and Vaz and Frank arrived.
I gave Frank a check for the 2nd payment of $9,198.
They finished the demo around 2 and Lyd discovered that the garage door wings had not been done, so Frank brought the guys back to finish the garage door wall, and there will be an adjustment to the bill.
