Dinner at at 1930 at the Mason Street Grill, in the hotel. At 0600, CDT, it’s 73o in Milwaukee, WI. Lyd did early risers and I went down to breakfast, alone, returning to the room at 0715. At 0815, in a light rain, we took an Uber to the Pfister Hotel, just a few blocks from the boat. By 9, we were checked in, though our room wasn’t ready and journeyed up to the Pfister Lounge on the 23rd floor, where we will relax until notified our room is ready. At 1030, Lyd went down to room 607 for a nap. At 1445, I secured our boarding passes and went down to the room for a short nap. At 1815, we went to Mason Street Grill, in the hotel, for dinner. Lyd started with a Hendricks Martini (20) and I had a Maker’s Mark Manhattan (22). The bread course had an interesting cheesy pita. We each chose the 7oz Petit Filet Mignon (48). Lyd added Asparagus (14) and I added Wild Mushrooms (14). Lyd also added a 9oz glass of Cabernet (26). We returned to the room, and, at 2030, CDT, it’s 70.
