ROUGH DRAFT
At 0630, it’s 66 on Bay Lake, and we’re headed for Hollywood Studios. While waiting for entrance into star tours, we encountered Clara, who was wiping off wet benches and was delightful and got a pixie dust card. For our fist trip, we encountered Kylo Ren, and a droid in Baku, then Po Dameron, then the aerial battle and then crashed back in and the captain’s pissed because we took his shuttle. We were solo and Lyd was the spy. In our second trip through, we had the same bay. The only difference was, I was this spy, and BB8 gave us coordinates. On the way out, Maxx, in the Star Tours gift shop, gave us “Spy Certificates.” We then went to the 0930 frozen show and went down to the front row. We went out to the 1030 show of villains. This time we were seated in the back and I videorecorded the entire show. I had a “Green Screen” at the beverage cart and then we went to the Disney museum and saw a preview for Hoppers. We shopped a little and then went and occupied the bench outside the Brown derby until our 1205 reservation. Lyd ordered a glass of Fess Parker wine and I had a Tito‘s and tonic. We both decided on a pair of appetizers each. She got the shrimp cocktail, and the prosciutto croquettes. I got the Hamachi, and the soup. For dessert, Lyd ordered the orange hazelnut cake (13) and I had grapefruit cake (14). At 13:15, we headed for the bus. I napped from 1400 to 1530 and Lyd continued until almost 1630. After napping, I noticed the express monorail has changed direction and now goes counterclockwise around the lake; the same as the resort Montrail. We left the room at 1645 for the monorail trip to the grand Floridian where we met Mark Evans in the Citico‘s bar. We were soon seated and I asked a customer service rep for the Somalia room in June. He advised me to email him closer to that date. I had a pair of Tito‘s and tonic and Lyd had a non-alcoholic mocktail. She ordered the duck appetizer and I had the soup followed by Hamachi. She had the charcuterie board for dessert. By 1830, We were on the monorail headed back to the room, and, at 2000, we’re down for the night.
