| The Plan: We're off the boat by 0800, headed for the Nashville Airport (BNA). Bill's flight, UA 1616, leaves at 1249, headed for Chicago (ORD) and then Denver (DEN). Our flight, AA 4667, leaves at 1123, headed for (PHL). Sonia will take us back to Wyomissing. | |||
| ROUGH DRAFT At 0600 it’s 71° in Nashville, Tennessee. Just before 0800, we trooped up to the bus and loaded up ready to go to the airport. At 0815 we were on the road headed for the airport. We arrived in heavy morning, commuter traffic. The driver had us remain onboard the bus while the luggage was unloaded. We then checked in at the American Airlines counter, checking the large bag and the small bag. TSA progressed easily and Lydia scrounged up a wheelchair and pushed me out to C17. We picked up a couple of avocado smoothies (12.62@) and boarded at 1100. At 1130 we pushed back from C17. At 1145 we departed Nashville on 2L. During the flight, I had a Tito‘s and tonic and Lydia had a glass of water. We landed at 1430. By 1530 we were in the car with Sonia, headed home, in a light rain. The left rear tire was soft, so Sonia stopped at the Wawa on 422 to pump it up, but the pump was defective, so we went a few blocks to a Redners to complete the task. At 1745, we got home and gave Sonia a few ponchos to take to Disney on her trip and at 1750, Holly was home. We had Brats, and hotdog and Kraut for dinner. In the evening, we finished War and Remembrance: Part V 1.5, and started Part VI 1.6. At 2100, it’s 76. |
