Decades ago, we discovered that Walt Disny World takes the opinions of its guests seriously.
We alawys responded to the comment card that used to come in the mail and now come in emails.
That method didn't give us the venue we needed to recognize that handfull of cast members, each visit, that went the extra mile in looking after our enjoyment of WDW.
Therefore, we created our Pixie Dust List. We carry business cards on-property that we hand out when we encounter someone special.
They read:
"You Made Our Pixie Dust List.
Today, you made our visit more magical and we're telling Disney all about it."
Each trip, soon after retuning home, we send our list to Guest Communications, where, we've been told, they have a "file" on us.
After our nominees are positively identified, our emailed comments are sent to each cast member and to his/her supervisor.
This is our small way of saying thanks.

Dinner was at the California Grill. Darlene Cipriano, a guest service manager, was very friendly and just fun.

While having dinner at Narcoossee’s, Lori, a server we have had in the past stopped by to visit, insisting she remembered us. She will have seen a lot of diners in her 27 years at Narcoossee’s. We added her to the Pixie Dust List for her pure Disney spirit.

In EPCOT, we took in Spaceship Earth. From there, walking to The Land, we encountered Tom, from Chesterfield MI. Tom is a custodial cast member with a flair for comedy. His exuberant greetings to all who passed earned him a place on our Pixie Dust List.

Lunch was at the Rose and Crown. Our server was Gemma, from Wolverhampton, near Birmingham. This delightful lass was added to our Pixie Dust List.
