Rounds 6 through 8

I was up early for competitions. Lydia wandered around EPCOT and enjoyed all the horticultural activities. Hardee County won Division III; Santa Rosa, Division II, and Escambia, Division I.  Duval County's boys came in 6th in the semi-final round and did not make the finals.

There really wasn't time to take in a park, so we headed over to Jiko for dinner. Anette Gray, Chef de Cuisine, came and visited with us, again, and we shared our new-found love (thanks to her) for braised meats. We also met a lady from Washington State who was an engineer in New Orleans and she described the devastation. Our newest friend, Jessica, is from J'berg and works in the Cooking Place. We'll start a correspondence. Here is the menu.
Lyd started with a glass of Pinot Noir, and I had my standard Manhattans.
The Taste of Africa is formed by ordering the left side of the starter menu and we shared that
We each had a serving of the salad Lyd had the shrimp and I had the braised short ribs

Our to-go boxes had a portion of all three!
