Tokyo Restaurant

4/9/2009 |
Margaret took us to Tokyo Restaurant for dinner. Elaine had a conflicting event, so it was just the four of us.
Tokyo cooks in a table side environment.
The four of us joined five others.
Harry, Tokyo's head chef, cooked for us, tableside, and was assisted by Dana, our server for the evening.
Dana started us out with cocktails.
I had my Maker's Mark Manhattan, (6.75).
Victor had a beer, and Margaret and Lyd each had Dewar's and Soda (7.25).
Harry started us with some dipping sauces.
Dana brought us a nice light soup, and then, after that, a salad.
Harry piles a few onion rings with some oil and created an onion volcano.
A pile of rice and 5 fried eggs combines to form...
...Fried Rice!
Harry cooked for the 9 of us. Margaret, Lyd and Victor each had Filet and Shrimp, (19.95).
Mine was Shrimp and Scallops, (19.95).
We had a pleasant evening and a good dinner. We'll do this again
