We took Margaret to Flavors of Italy, as a party of three.
We didn't have a reservation, but that was not a problem.
Lindsey was our server and presented us with a new menu, only a few weeks old, with slightly high prices.
We started with drinks, a pair of Dewar's and Soda for Lyd and Margaret and a Maker's Mark Manhattan for me.
Lindsey warned that they didn't have any bitters, but that did not distract from the quality of the Manhattan.
We each had a cup of their crab bisque which is quite good. It's not too thick and has a light taste of tomato with lots of local crab.
I followed with the Caesar Salad which came with the dinner.
Dinner came out shortly thereafter and there was little chance to enjoy the salad.
Margaret's entree was the bruschetta starter.
Lyd's was the Vegetarian Primavera Pizza.
Tom selected the Veal Francaise.
Once another couple left, we were the only other table.
Margaret and Marie will probably return there tomorrow for lunch after Margaret's hair appointment.
