We took the family back to Flavors of Italy for dinner.
We picked up Victor at 1700; Elaine joined us shortly thereafter.
We started with drinks.
Lyd had a merlot; Margaret a Dewar's and Soda; Victor a Yuengling; and Tom, his Manhattan.
Courtney was, again, our server.
Victor started with clams from the daily specials.
Margaret had a cup of the crab bisque and followed it with crab toast.
Lyd had a Caesar Salad and a small Veggie Primavera Pizza, with cheese this time.
Tom had the Veal Marsala Chop and a side Caesar.
Victor had a small plain pizza.
Elaine had chicken Marsala and veggie beef soup.
Tom's veal chop was served, essentially, raw!
Rather than complain, we asked Courtney to show it to the chef and make it a teachable moment.
I think it would have been better seared on the stove top and then finished in the oven.
